How I did it: Its too easy, but procrastination sometimes gets in the way. Compile your clothing to wash, put it in the machine. Add detergent to the line and set it to cold or warm water. Set it to whatever you are washing turn the machine on.  Then when done put clothes in dryer according to the label of the clothing.

Lessons & tips: Usually you don't have to seperate colors and darks if you do it on cool.
