How to learn to juggle
How I did it: I now know 'How to not drop/throw/toss juggling balls all over the room'. I can't say I'm very good at this. But I'm happy with what I've achieved. I practiced using potatoes because the balls that I used were quite light, and it became difficult to toss them along one trajectory and set a rhythm. The potatoes worked. It got a little messy though. I shall now go and dine on some well-juggled (and dropped, smashed and mashed) potatoes.
Lessons & tips: 1. Practice with anything appropriate. Don't put it off because you haven't yet bought that perfect set of designer(..umm) balls. I learned using onions and potatoes.
2. There are plenty of diagrams and videos online. 3-step diagrams worked best for me.
3. Stand at the foot/against the side of your bed when your practicing so you don't move around.
4. Take it 1 step at a time. It will get frustrating if you're as restless as I am, but you will get it, eventually.
