How I did it: I worked out daily, and did all the exercises. If you do between 40 to 50 push ups, and 40 to 50 sit ups a day, you will easily pass both events.
As for the 2 mile run, just run 2 miles (or more) each day. At the very least you should be running every other day.
Lessons & tips: Work out and do what you know what you are suppose to do. It really takes an effort to pass with a high score, but every soldier should easily pass each event at 60%.
Resources: Just the lessons I learned at Marine Corps Boot Camp. I'm now in the Army, but the lessons are the same. Do a lot of reps for each event each day.
