How to drive the great ocean road
How I did it: From 25 to 28 February 2010, in a rental car.
We did Geelong, Apollo Bay, Erskine Falls, Great Otway National Park (don't skip that!), Marriner's Lookout, all the obligatory Apostles and Bay of Islands stuff, and ended in Mount Eccles, (worth a visit! Lava tunnels, double crater with scary steep heights and lake, rock wallibies, and nobody around (at least in February)).
Lessons & tips: It was cold and windy. Bring a wind-tight coat.
