How to start a blog

"This time I'll make it!"
How I did it: I spent a whole day fixing the layout with own pictures till I get satisfied. usually I've lost interest because the official layouts looks boring.
The next day I made my first entry and a about post.
Today I've been spreading my link to the blog at communities I have.
