I upload them to windows skydrive which you get with a hotmail account.  You get 25gb free storage! (that actually isn't enough so I'll have to make another account).  But they upload really easily, it tell you if there is a problem with one file, like flickr, instead of facebook just freezing or not telling you and you don't know which pictures haven't uploaded but there are 3 to few.  

Plus you can upload upto 1000 at a time, in different folders, in full resolution.  PLUS you can then re-download the ENTIRE album! Perfect! (instead of having to right-click and save like on facebook)

The only minor thing is you can't rotate the picture so it has to be uploaded in the right orientation.  Mine aren't though.  And you can't tag people in them, but oh well it's just a back-up. Oh another thing, it tends to not upload the pics in the right order in the album.  You can re-order them, but to be on the page where when you hover over the pic it says the name, you have to type the number of the order you want the pic to go in, and in the updated version where you can drag to rearrange the pic, the title doesn't show when you hover over the pic, so you don't know the order.

But they are minor issues.  It is definately the best solution I have found.  And it's free!
