How to indulge my curiosity by Niz Bennet

"I walked up to a stranger who looked very absorbed by a book and asked what they were reading."

How I did it: I saw someone in a coffee shop looking very interested in their book so I walked over and said that I didn't mean to be impolite but I wondered what book they were reading. It led to a half an hour conversation about many different things. I also received and gave book and film recommendations. One of the books I discovered was Half of a Yellow Sun, which turned out to be a simply fantastic read.
