How I did it: I applied for a scholarship and i wrote three essays, went through interviews and everything and i ended up getting a really low amount of money that isn't even able to pay for one course at University. I was so excited when i got the letter and it said 'CONGRATULATIONS' only to be disappointed. It is so low that it is less than what financial aid would give as a grant. I do appreciate it, i really do but i was hoping it would be enough to help me with my tuition.

Don't get me wrong

Thank you, i get it, but i just can’t take back the feeling i had when i read that letter. I’m really happy and thankful though. There were other applicants that got something too. I was just hoping that it would be a ‘mega’ scholarship, if you know what i mean. That’s all. Apart from that i’m extremly happy about it.
