"I started caring about my professional appearance and put extra time and money into a new wardrobe - not waiting until I was at some skinny-girl weight."
How I did it: I cleaned out my closet of things that did not flatter me, only keeping what I truly love.
Then - I went school shopping in the fall for some basics and have been picking up funky accents for the last few months.
Since the beginning of the year I have even found a necklace and a couple of bracelets that I love. Accessories???? I haven't worn accessories since college!
Last week I even replaced my black winter coat with a blue one and got green plaid scarf, hat and gloves to match. Who is this well put together woman?
I blame it all on Ashley. SHE inspired me!
Lessons & tips: Don't do everything at once. Pick up pieces that you really like here and there after you have the basics. Replace anything that's worn or tattered. It will make you feel good and others will respond differently to you too.
