How to learn Japanese by Hachiko2012

"Lifechanging"

How I did it: 1. Began learning in highschool

2. Went on exchange to japan
3. Watched lots of japanese shows and listened to japanese music
4. Completed lots of textbooks and workbooks
5. Made Japanese friends and only spoke japanese with them
6.Never gave up!!!!!! (perhaps the most important one)

Lessons & tips: Be consistant with your study otherwise you will never get better and will get frustrated and want to give up.

Resources: using Anki and the Genki textbooks, also using flash cards religiously and using my japanese as much as possible.
