How I did it: 1.  I developed 3 questions to ask a potential dermatologist.
2.  I chose the one that seemed the most important to start with.
3.  I read about local dermatologists.
4.  I selected an office that was highly recommended.
5.  I discussed concerns and got a check-up.
6.  I did as instructed.
7.  I am following instructions.

Lessons & tips: 1.  I couldn't ask about everything so my priority was to address any potential medical issues first.
2.  Get a screening or check-up for skin cancer!  It feels really good to know that I don't have this scary disease.
3.  Wear sunscreen!
4.  Dermatologists can also help with insect bites, poison ivy, nail issues, skin allergies, and wound management.
5.  Eat protein.
6.  Drink plenty of water.
7.  Take vitamins!
