How to compliment a stranger by gengu

"Just do it!"

How I did it: It can be the easiest thing in the world and I think everyone should do it! Try it out sometimes and see how it is not a big deal, and yet it is. If there is something you like on a person, tell them. The thing is - everyone likes getting compliments and the most common reaction to them is a smile. So if you compliment someone you don't actually know, you will make their day better, and yours too. There is nothing to lose by giving someone a compliment, it is just one more act of kindness!

This is such an easy thing for people to do, as you point out. However so many people are afraid of rejection that they won’t speak to strangers. Thank you for posting this. I shall remember to compliment someone today!
