I lived in Malaysia for a year, and had durian a few times. Not horrible, but also not my favorite fruit. Glad to have had the experience, though. Thanks for your interesting post! :)

How I did it: Me and my friends were on our way back home from Bukidnon last Sunday when we saw a vendor selling Durian on the side of the highway. We stopped and bought Durian as pasalubong for our families. I also bought because I know my mom likes the fruit. Apparently, when I get home, I remembered my dare last year (that's to eat Durian). So, I grabbed a part of the fruit and put it on my mouth. What can I say? I don't like it and that would be my last. At least, I was able to fulfill my dare.
