How I did it: I’ll be dead honest – it took me 3 tries to pass that test. I’ve always been more of a hands-on learner (which was probably why the Behind-The-Wheel test was a cinch for me in comparison) but I was never allowed any driving experience prior to getting a permit, so it was harder for me than it was for most people. Plus, I had a HUGE fear of driving to get over, and next to no confidence.

Lessons & tips: Ask your friends for past tests to look over. There's some practice tests online too. Chances are those questions will be on your test as well. Pay attention when someone else is driving and ask questions if possible. Also, take it when you really feel ready and as cliché as this sounds, believe in yourself.
