How I did it: So this is not exactly the typical sort of resuce, as in resuce from the pound etc... Originally thats what this was all about, but as im not in a place for that right now, I have to amend, to a slightly different version. To literally rescue a dog!!
We live in a rural area so to see a dog loitering about is not unusual, but for more that 2 days - thats unusual.. We had seen this poor little scrawny dog on the road, as had the neighbours, ultimately we just had to do the right thing and pick her up.
Hungry little thing, we fed her up (bones from a steakhouse mind you! happy dog) and put out a bunch of flyers around the neighbourhood. No response, nothing. Advertisment in the paper, no one claimed her. A man called asking if he can take the dog if it wasn't claimed, so, deal, done. Can have.
Drove the dog around to his place, and by fluke of all flukes - the dogs owners were out on the roads looking for her! They happened to pass at a narrow slow section of the road, and saw the dog! Amazing.
The little lost dog went back to her own real home! SO pleased!
 - ok sounds like i'm making it up, its a bit far fetched. its honest, honest truth!

Lessons & tips: Rescue a stray!! Please, she is just hungry, and lost from her own family!
