Paul DuVal is gearing up for a work project blitz
Yes, that’s a great point! I did lose a little bit of “bulk” as a result, but the vast majority of it was the unwanted kind. Good thing is that I rarely felt hungry and my Saturday pig-out day convinced my body that it wasn’t starving. Another good thing is that I didn’t feel like I had to completely give up certain foods with that cheat day. So for example, while I couldn’t have blueberries for six days a week, I could eat enough blueberry pancakes on Saturday to put me in a coma.
One thing to add is that there’s no portion control, calorie counting, food weighing or anything like that needed with this plan. Just eat your 3 meals until you’re full and wait 4 hours until the next one. The one exception is nuts. I’d snack on raw almonds in between meals if necessary, but only on about 10 or so. It’s an example of a “domino” food where you can start eating and not stop.
