How I did it: I went to every class they offered in my weak subject (Math), and after a few classes I actually started to enjoy myself, I know this sounds stupid now but you'll look back with fond memories on those days.

Lessons & tips: I know you think you'll never get it, but you will if you keep trying. I received a very incomplete education growing up (I was home schooled and had to get my GED for accreditation purposes for college), I was taught no higher than VERY basic Division, and have always been bad at Math. It took a long time but I finally got it all down. And I'll tell you, the pre-test is harder than the actual test. And when it comes to the calculator, don't rely on it as a crutch while studying, because 98% of the stuff on the actual test you're better off without the thing, you'll save time if you just write it all out on scrap paper, instead of trying to figure out how to work the calculator.

Resources: There are a lot of online mock-tests you can take, these helped me quite a bit.
