How to see the northern lights by amzndncr

"Happenstance is a many splendid thing!"

How I did it: I flew from Los Angeles to Zurich and as I was leaving Canada on my way over Greenland, I took a peak out of my window and saw a brilliant sky and a crescent moon.  At first I thought it was a glare on my window, but I swear I saw faint green wisps that could've only been the northern lights,  I only wish I had a photo.  I still want to see them again in Alaska, but I was overwhelmed when I saw them.
