How I did it: A few years ago I started a Happy Journal where I vowed to write (at least) three things that made me happy every day. It wasn’t until about a year ago that I started doing it consistently. A few months ago I transferred from a small lined notebook to a large, unruled journal. I’ve felt a lot better about this goal since then (January 2012) because I’ve taken a lot of pride in writing in it every day in bright colors and making long lists. I also do a weekly update on my blog of the happy things from the previous week which you can see here.
Lessons & tips: + definitely write on the same day, you'd be surprised what you can forget in 24 hours!
