How to get my belly button pierced
How I did it: I dropped by a tattoo place and asked for a navel piercing. It cost $25 and took around 5 minutes. A little painful, but only for a split second, and totally worth it.
Lessons & tips: Aftercare is important - if you get an infection, that piercing is definitely not looking sexy. I recommend H2Ocean spray, but it isn't necessary if you can't afford it. You can also use regular saline solution. Just use a small cup and fill it a little, then tip the cup over your navel. Use enough solution so that the piercing is just covered. Do this about three times a day. You're supposed to wait around 3-4 weeks to change the starter jewelry, but I didn't. If you can change the jewelry without experiencing any pain, you should be fine. DON'T take the bar out and leave it out for any longer than a few hours. The piercing can heal closed and you'll have to do it all over again.
