How I did it: I started off learning how to sit on the unicycle, I used a wall and tried to keep both feet on the pedals while my hands were on the wall for balance.  After I could keep my balance I tried slowly peddling while keeping almost all my force on the wall to keep balance.  I slowly but surely increased my balance and got farther and farther practicing every day.  What really helps is having a friend hold your hands and help you balance while you try to peddle.  If you don't know what form or posture you need to ride a unicycle there are a lot of how to youtube videos that I watched and showed me how to!, Also the videos of people doing unicycle tricks game me a lot of inspiration to keep uni-cycling!
