" I managed to achieve the ability to move stuff with my mind, but eventually went to other things.
Now I'm making up for lost time (and fun)"
How I did it:
Around 2004-2005 I was really into Psionics in general, focusing specifically on Psi manipulation (almost required for any Psi-based specialty) and telekinesis. With Psi manipulation I saw results immediately, however it took me nearly 2 weeks of 20 minute daily practice sessions on the psi wheel to get results in TK. Shortly after, I got to the point where I could spin the psi wheel with decent speed, and switch directions in about 3 seconds or less. Unfortunately I fell out of practice at that time with the distractions brought on by a move and increased interest in other hobbies such as drawing, lockpicking, and Martial arts.
In retrospect, I'm really kicking myself for not sticking with it. (That's 8 years of experience I would've had under my belt!)
I've tried picking it up again on numerous occasions, but each attempt was half-assed and yielded little to no results. However I'm at it again with a level of desire rivaling that which I began this journey with. I remain hopeful, and confident. I did it once, and I'll do it again! :)
Lessons & tips: If you've done it once before, it will be LOADS easier to relearn than start from scratch, since you already have an idea of what NOT to do.
I learned before PSIPOG.net was archived, and UYTA was still online. (Their tests on their websites were an interesting twist. However their info was odd and obscure, but possibly still worth thumbing through for some of you.)
I have yet to explore the current Psionic community, so unfortunately my knowledge of up-to-date websites is very much lacking. (It HAS been 8 years, afterall.)
(THE authority in the field at the time, and possibly still is, despite being archived 6 or more years ago.)
(Defunct and highly obscure treatises, however the animated tests on their website were interesting. A shame they most likely went down with the website.)
