How to frame and hang my prints

"I've acquired some art prints recently and I'm excited to finally have them up on the wall. "
How I did it: I measured the pictures I had-- including (from this image) a poster from The Int'l Spy Museum in DC, a Sonia Delaunay print from the BMA, an original linoleum print generously gifted to me from a 43T'er, and a set of 4 vintage Australia postcards I've had (framed, and previously hung) for years.
Since moving into my apartment I've also framed and hung 2 full size posters, a smaller Mucha poster and calendar image, 2 original prints from Santa Fe, and one of my own linoleum prints from college.
I shopped at Micheal's because they usually have a good selection of relatively cheap, yet versatile frames.
The arranging and hanging part is usually a bit of a pain. It takes a lot of hanging, stepping back, re-positioning, and repeat.... for me, at least.
Lessons & tips: Arrange and measure the art at home before you go to the store. Take a look at the compositions, colors, etc. and think about how you're going to arrange them together on the wall. This should help you pick out the right frames at the store. Taking pictures of the pictures along with can also be helpful.
If you go to Micheal's try to snag a coupon or check out when they're having a sale in the frame department.
I'm not an expert on hanging pictures (and mine often come out a bit crooked, or maybe it's the walls haha) so I'll refrain from imparting any false wisdom on that matter. I'm sure a level would help, a second pair of eyes and hands couldn't hurt either.
I can say this-- play around with your pieces. Move them around, change rooms even. Certain pieces are meant to hang in certain parts of the house (or, in my case, studio apartment.)
