How to keep a journal

How I did it: I bought a beautiful journal in Florence...an emerald green leather journal...and started writing. The journal is so beautiful that I didn't want to "poison" it with all my troubles and worries, but that is EXACTLY what journaling is all about. You need to write everything down, no filters, no worries of anyone picking it up and reading it (seriously). You need to do it for yourself to sort out your thoughts and lighten the load. Then you can look back on it and put it to rest. You will make progress, and you will be able to see how far you've come! and you will appreciate yourself more.
and this is why you should journal. :)
