How I did it: My previous computer was a six-year-old Mac desktop, and it wasn't holding out very well. Back in July, a strange blue line appeared down the side of my computer, and by the new year about four others had joined it. Plus, it was really slow; it took several minutes just to switch from one application to the other. Although I was supposed to get a laptop after graduating high school, like my brother did, even my parents agreed that my computer was really frustrating. Pretty soon, all we had to do was just do it. So my dad and I went to the Apple Store yesterday, and the people there were very nice. I also wasn't very picky about it, so it didn't take long to choose which one I wanted. Then we took it home and transferred all my information, and by this morning it was ready to use!
