How to take a vacation with my mom by donnadonna9

How I did it: My mom always complains that we've never taken a mother-daughter vacation together. So, we planned a trip to Palm Springs, CA for a week of rest and relaxation. We stayed at a beautiful resort and spent the week in the warm sun on lounge chairs by the pool. We also did a little hiking, bike riding, and sightseeing.  

Lessons & tips:

-Spend quality time with your parents. They wont be around forever. And remember, they may be annoying at times, but have patience for them. They had the patience to raise you.
-It's a good idea to rent a car if you're traveling to this destination.
-Joshua Tree National Park is only an hour away and it's definitely worth seeing.
