How to beat my depression
How I did it: You can't vaccinate against ignorance.
We never stop thinking. Once we become aware of the fact that we are constantly absorbing new information, learning, unlearning and relearning, we can focus on what we want. The power comes from within. And we create it for ourselves.
Everyday, we realize a little bit more of what we want out of life. It's a choice.
No one will ever walk into your life with all the answers and tell you this is a cheat sheet to be happy indefinitely. But you can teach yourself how to provide everything you need and want from within.
Everyone has limits. And when we find those limits, it's alright to ask someone for help.
We all have similarities, which makes medicine and therapeutic practice work the way it does, but you must want to get better or nothing will happen.
If ignorance is the the struggle, educating yourself is observing the total obstacle and understanding all of it's complex parts.
It's as simple as deciding "I don't like that about myself," and focusing on changing that to something you like.

- Harmless Fun: Understanding How Biofeedback Works
A simple test of biofeedback is to practice blinking only one eyelid.
Hold one eyelid closed by first, close your eyes, gently put your palm over one of your eyelid and then open your eyes. Focus on not forcing your covered eyelid. Eventually, you can learn to hold one eyelid closed.
This is the natural progression of biofeedback. It can be applied to any emotion or function of your body.
2. Liberation From Other People's Opinion.
You need never concern yourself with the matters and affairs of others until they affect you directly. A choice can be made to draw inward to satisfy oneself, there by renouncing ownership of a burden being forced upon you.
When one is healthy and finds another healthy being, the invitation can be extended to create bonds between each other. Healthy bonds are lasting and amplify the quality of life for self aware beings, which is why healthy bonding is a biological need.
Increasing our sensitivity to our personal will have a profound impact on the quality of our lives. Nurturing these skills creates personal success and satiate, the way that nothing else can or 'will.'
