How to redefine the American political landscape
"Thought I needed to do it from my desk, ended up doing it at doors across two states."
How I did it: I talked and talked and talked to everyone I knew about what I should be doing with my life, and more than half said, "Why aren't you working for the Obama campaign?" So, without a thought to this named 43things goal, I got onboard with a fellowship and then the real thing. And then I was redefining the American political landscape. When I happened to get my next 43things reminder about this goal, I smiled and realized I was already doing it, had already done it.
Lessons & tips: Jump in. Showing up for something like this is indescribably more important than being ready for it. :)
