How to control my anger

Comments:

martinimermaid life is what you make of it!...

i hope i'll get there too

my problem is with just one person, my boyfriend actually, and i never knew i had it in me until the first time he drove me mad.. it’s not what he does, it’s just that he is incredibly incoherent in an argument that logical framework is immediately lost and madness comes in instead.. he’s such a great guy, a nice and loving person, a trustworthy man… his pluses easily cancel out his down sides, but it’s so hard to keep calm in the face of crazy incoherence in an argument… i hate myself when i end up yelling then crying tears of frustration when he keeps doing it… what if what the other person says is still frustrating after taking the breath and stepping back, calmly telling him that it annoys you, and you’ll end up in the well-known misery if he keeps doing it while he acts like he’s not his normal self, but you also can’t afford to lose him?

Well done!

I never really used to have an anger problem before I started working as a cashier. I’ve always had people related work, for the longest time I was a sales assistant in a outdoor shop and a hostess in a lodge. But now I’m working as a cashier in a busy supermarket. For a lot of the people who shop here, English is only a second language and they are mostly men from from rural areas that work on the mine and have little to no respect for woman because of their cultures. I’m always friendly but their attitudes and lack of manners make me snap quickly. When their short on cash for their purchase they expect to to pay the rest in for them. Uh, it’s so frustrating. Seeing you completing this goal gives me hope that I’ll learn to reign in my temper again.
