How to visit an art gallery by bethieb

"Be a Patron of the Arts"

How I did it: My family wasn't very artsy, but somehow I became the child in all the art classes.  I was first exposed to fine art by a high school teacher who did a couple of weeks of art history in the middle of the year.  I'm sure I never told her how it changed my life.  Over the years I took the oportunity to visit museums and galleries whenever I was in a new town.  I can't always afford to buy anything, but I'm still enriched by seeing the work of all the artists.

Lessons & tips: Take the time to search your local area.
