How to go walking by Nadia Fawcett

"Reminded me of something I hadn't realised that I had lost"

How I did it: A friend of mine used to be really into his walking, so I arranged with him to go on one of his regular routes while we had nice weather. We went to Entwistle Reservoir, took some beautiful pictures (one of which is included) and just had a fantastic day :D 

Lessons & tips: Wear comfortable shoes and sensible clothing! Properly sensible. You might feel a little silly if you have to use public transport to get there but BELIEVE me it is worth it.

Remember to take water

As much as it is exercise, don't be so worried about the calories you are burning at the speed you are going. Sometimes taking time to smell the roses is what you need more than burning off that last Mars bar.
