How I did it:

1. The first thing I did was  quitting my job. That was extreme, you don´t have to do it.
2. Next I took a notebook and a pen and I was ready to write. But, you cannot force inspiration, you should wait until it comes.  That frustrated me a little bit and cried several times. I had a clear idea of my book but I was blocked. Then I realized that I had to be relaxed, and allow the words arose. That's when the magic came.
3. I wrote all the chapters the way they came into my mind.
4. The next step was to review again and again until I was happy with the result.
5. The final steps were legal ones. Copyright and ISBN.
6. Then I published my book in Amazon. It's was very easy with KDP. I guess you can find another way to publish it. Maybe apple store. I don´t know what else. 

Lessons & tips: My book is ready now and I can´t believe it. However, while I was writing I had a lot of doubts and I thought many times that the effort was not worth it. I had to fight with myself and convince me that I could do it.
I can tell now that the EFFORT WAS WORTH IT!!!  Now, I feel I could do anything, I just have to work hard, follow my intuition and believe in myself.
I´m ready to cheer you up, so you can write your book.

Resources: I wrote a book in Spanish about quitting diapers. I didn´t use any books or services. I used my own experience. I had 3 girls and I tested my method with them.
