How I did it: I watched every calorie that went into my body. I made healthier choices. I exercised and went to Zumba two to three times a week. I was very aware of what was going into me and what I was putting out in terms of exercise and work. I never gave up...even when I felt like it because there were times when I would plateau and that scale would not move. I kept reminding myself that I was making good decisions and doing things that were good for my body regardless of what that number was doing. I had moments where I felt completely out of control (even though I wasn't) but I kept on going and kept staying on track...and here I am 33 pounds lighter and moving on to the next ten pounds gone!
Lessons & tips: Always keep going...no matter what. Never ever ever give up! Keep making good decisions and it will pay off. You will go through plateaus and hard times...but keep trudging along. Keep exercising and moving and eating right...always always always keep on going!!!
Resources: Zumba Zumba Zumba!!!!!!!!!! I cannot speak highly enough about Zumba Fitness! It has, in a sense, saved my life! It made me fall in love with exercise...because it doesn't seem like exercise. I feel like I'm having fun and not being tortured through a workout. I love love love my Zumba!!!
