"Cathartic"

How I did it:

  • Timeline of issues and events
  • Brainstormed everything that needed to be included
  • Wrote it down and summarised the key concerns
  • Proof read it and asked for a couple of other trusted people's views

Lessons & tips:

  • Jot the key issues on a timeline
  • Get started - you can tweak, refine and move paragraphs as it develops
  •  Keep it professional and not too subjective/personal in the wording used
  • Explain the impact clearly
