How to stay off facebook for a week by leeann1214

"I didn't go on the entire week I was in Cusco, Peru!"

How I did it: I didn't really ever feel tempted, it was so nice to not be weighed down by what was happening in the virtual world! It is amazing all the things you can go out and do when you aren't having to check up on everything that is going on with everyone else--you can live in the moment!

I noticed this

my reception on my phone stopped working. I had to meet my friends at a restaurant, and normally I would call and ask them where they were… so i ended up looking all over, out on the patio, all throughout the bottom floor, all throughout the top floor, finally found them on the top floor in a tiny enclave…

i really noticed a lot more about the ambiance of the restaurant that way, instead of rushing through it to get to the corner… i think i experienced much more.
