How to quit eating sugar
How I did it: Sweet foods don't appeal to me as much as sweet drinks do. My biggest hurdle was drinking my coffee without sugar. To start, I added honey instead of sugar. Then molasses (since it was in the cupboard). That helped wean me off of sweet coffee. I stopped drinking soda, as well. The difference in how I feel is well worth not eating sugar.
Lessons & tips: If you can't do this cold turkey, then gradually reduce the sweetness of what you eat or drink.
Resources: Many of the medical studies I have been reading talk about how dangerous sugar can be to people who have insulin resistance. That was a driver for me.
