How to go to Florida for Spring break by Mallory Bush

"Perfect"

How I did it: I bought my plane tickets about two months ahead of time, so they were cheaper. I didn't have to worry about a place to stay, because one of my best friends went to school in St. Petersburg.

We took an Amtrak from St. Petersburg to Orlando and spent two days there. We went to Universal and Harry Potter World. I seriously urge EVERYONE to go to HPW at least once. It is...magical. 
Then we partied way too hard back at her dorm and I woke up 7 hours later with the room still spinning, threw up, and passed out again for another 5 hours.
Best freshman year Spring Break ever.

Lessons & tips: If you know anyone, STAY WITH FRIENDS. It's so much cheaper than hotels.

Spring Break is also prime time to go to Florida, so try to avoid the regular places like Miami. 
Buy plane tickets as far ahead of time as possible. So expensive.
