How I did it: I looked around in several shops and on Ebay on several different occasions and really didn't like any of the boots on offer. And if I'm going to spend a $100 or so on a pair of boots, I want a pair I like, dammit. 

I eventually found a website, Prodirect, which had an amazing selection of soccer boots. There were so many pairs to choose from and at a decent price as well. I finally settled for a delectable yellow and violet pair of Pumas.

They arrived today and they are beautiful.

Lessons & tips: Postage to Australia from the UK took about 2.5 weeks.
