How to own a pair of wellington boots by skittledragon

"I saw, I tried on, I bought some wellybobs!"

How I did it: I was after some proper wellies (not those flimsy, girly patterned ones every cheap store sells, that will do you one festival), mainly because where I volunteer is in the country and can get very muddy in the rain. There are few things as soul-destroying as soaking wet feet, so I decided for the first time in adulthood, I needed PROPER wellies.

I tracked down these beauties in an outdoors shop. They just look like hardcore worker wellies! They feel much stronger and more durable than the others I've tried, and what's more they fit my skinny feet a lot better! Can't wait to splash around in some puddles now =D

Lessons & tips: Go to outdoors/camping stores - more likely to stock practical working boots than fashion stores.

Though the shop I went into only stocked womens' wellingtons up to a size 6 and turned out I needed a 7, so I had to source them online...
The pic shows the green version I had in a 6 that I had to take back - online I had an option of black, so I got me some of them =P
