How to graduate from college by PianoNinja

"Graduating college provided me with an education that can never be taken away from me."

How I did it: I graduated college by attending all classes, putting forth my best efforts in assignments and prioritizing my life so that I would be successful.  I chose a major that I enjoyed and that would give me marketable skills for future careers.

It also helped that I took Advanced Placement and community college courses in high school which transferred as credits to my university.  This allowed me to graduate within four years.

Graduating college is a goal that requires values such as determination, ambition, patience, and confidence.  While college can provide many wonderful life experiences, it is important to remember that the ultimate goal is to earn a degree.

Lessons & tips:

  • Choose a major/degree that you are interested in
  • Prioritize your life and assignments 
  • Make friends who share your values 
  • Remember the three S's: Sleep, Study, and Social Life.  You can only choose two at a time. 
  • Speak often with your advisor  
  • Have a degree checklist that clearly lists all requirements for your degree 
  • Attend all classes.  Complete all assignments.
