"Not what i expected but still counts..."
How I did it: The association I'm working in publishes a periodical and they were short an article this month. They knew I write - though in a completely different area of study - and asked me - no, more like made me - write one. I worked day and night for a week and wrote an article and it got published in the periodical... Normally people who write for the periodical get paid, but since I am already a worker I didn't *sigh...
Oh and writing in Turkish was challenging...
I guess it's a good thing for my CV which I'm planning to activate soon...
Lessons & tips: I know it's a nuisance to write an article... I kept telling myself that i was the one who would do it in the end and that no one else would come and write anything for me, so it was no good to procrastinate.. Works everytime...
Also a looong long bibliography always helps...
Resources: Google scholar is a darling.. I made use of METU online library too...
