How to beat social anxiety
How I did it: I did it by
1. Seeing a therapist
2. Putting myself in situations that I needed to socially interact with people. (i still get stressed in situations where i don't know anyone - super dooper stressed)
and I don't think I will be completely over my social anxiety for at least a few more years yet but I have greatly improved and I will keep on improving.
So what if you act silly/are a little bit crazy/feel like your boring those are your insecurities and your friends should love you anyway and there are lots of people out there that will love you and those that don't well they don't matter.
Lessons & tips:
Get involved even if its stressful for you (I have to talk about my project in one of my classes all the time i do it anyway even though i suck)
Get involved in an activity where nobody knows one another, its easier to make friends that way (I have made a few new friends this way) umm find an age group you feel comfortable with to start off with, I didn't do this but i know i feel most comfortable around older people/senior citizens.
