How to score a hoop with a basketball from the half-way line! by Kerrin Tarr

Ecstatic and shocked

"Unexpected and spontaneous."

How I did it: The usual day out at the park and after winning at a game of H.O.R.S.E, my mate had an idea of trying to score from the half-way line.

I didn't achieve this on my first attempt nor many that followed, but before we went home I was determined to get it in, and I did!

Also managed to half-volley the ball from the half-way line into the hoop that same outing.

Lessons & tips: Be patient, it would be quite an achievement completing this first shot and keep in mind the wind's effect on its flight.
