How to try to stop getting depressed so often
How I did it: I got a psychologist who I saw weekly about the things I was worried about and I planned each week what I would talk to him about.
I also went to Twelve Step Recovery groups and planned each week what I would talk about there.
I also started writing about the things that were making me depressed, although (while everyone recommended writing with a paper and pen) I found it much easier to type out my writing rather than using paper.
I also talked more with the people around me, listening to them rather than listening to myself.
