"The greatest way for me to remove stress and stop worrying for nothing"
How I did it: At first, I was reluctant, I thought it was doing no good. But someone told me to keep writing even if everything was going well, even if there was nothing particular to wrtie. So I did it, but I felt it was not changing anything until the day when it did changed something. I really felt it. I had no one to tell how a particular situation was stressful for me so I tried to put it down in words in my diary. What a relief! I wrote, I wrote until I would have not more to say about the subject. The weirdest thing is that the moment I had nothing more to say about my problem, I felt as it was not a so bog problem anymore. Also, the more I would read over my-self, I was thinking,"why would I think that, it is not that stressful, I was panicking for nothing", And since this day, whenever I feel stressed and I dont know who to talk to, I write in my journal to relief the stress.
IT WORKS. i swear. Try it, you will feel good after. It might take some time before you really see the benefit, (if you are sceptic like me) but the day you will be aware of that benefit, you will have found a good strategy to overcome a lot of stress or depression related problems.
Lessons & tips:
Just write, even if you dont feel like it, even if you dont have anything to say, even if what you want to write seems stupid, even if it is very short, even if you are ashamed of what you are writing in any case, just write!! At some point, you will become dependent on this "writing therapy" and it wont be a homework anymore.
Resources: It is a counsellor at school who told me that even if everything was going fine, I should continue to write, which I did, and it worked.
