How to lessen my soda consumption
How I did it: I did it by forgetting about soda. Really, if you pretend its not there, then you order something else...or even just get water!! It's free!!
Also, if you ever try a good chilled glass of guava juice, you will never go back to soda. ever.
I also thought about what I hear about certain sweeteners they use...like aspartame, which a carcinogen!! I'm trying to quit smoking, cos I dont want to get cancer...so why would I want to put other carcinogens in my precious, one time use only body?
Do some research and find your own reasons...there's everything from health to social to environmental reason why we should stay away from soda.

Lessons & tips: Think about how much money you spend on soda. you dont have to!! Soda is not only more expensive, but also its not healthy, and not even as tasty and as a good glass of orange, cranberry, strawberry, apple, guava, anything juice.
Think about it this way:
*everytime you drink a soda, you're putting crap in your body and PAYIN FOR IT!
*everytime you drink a glass of water, you're cleaning the crap you've putting in your body...FOR FREE!!
*everytime you drink a natural fruit juice, not only are you cleaning your body but also giving it ammo for your immune system and getting a good part of the vitamins you need to stay peachy throughout the day.
in other owrds...if you're gonna have to pay for something, at least pay for something that is good for you, not something that's gonna make it easier for lumps of fat to settle in your body (:
Plus...also think of all the crimes that Coca Cola is known for. I'm sure it's not too different from other bottling companies.
Lastly, reduce!! do you make an effort to recycle that can/bottle of sprite? I didn't think so!! Have your own reusable container and fill it up with some refreshing orange juice in the morning, get some water and squeeze some limes in it for a hot mid-day refreshment and add a little flavor packet or a green tea bag to some water for a good evening drink. Or even better...HAVE FRUITS INSTEAD!!
