How to participate in a protest
It made me 
"I stood up for love and equal rights and it was so worth it."
How I did it: I was invited to the Prop 8 protest on facebook by a friend in Seattle and then I found the Chicago event from there. Equal rights for homosexual (well, everyone) has always been something that I've been passionate about for a long time so I was really excited.
Lessons & tips: Make a sign! I went without and I wish I had made one.
Resources: Have a friend go with you. Bring a sign. Have fun! Be passionate!
