How to buy a lottery ticket
How I did it: Well, I went to my little local corner store, and bought one. I live in Ontario, and there are loads of lotteries. Therefore, I asked the teller all about it, and made a fool of myself. I got ID'd even though I've been of age for quite some time. I really don't understand WHY it took me so long, it might be that I was uneasy about the gambing aspect of it - I hate gambling..it scares me. I picked the lottery with the largest pot and got an 'encore'. No one actually won my first lottery. Dare I buy another ticket?
Lessons & tips: Don't be afraid to ask! I am sure it brightens the ticket-seller's day, generally I find people enjoy being more informed than others. They will love telling you all they know. You could also do what I didn't do, ask your parents/friends/people you actually know.
Keep your ticket! Especially if you lost ;) - it's nice to be sentimental.
ALSO, don't forget to sign your ticket! You don't want someone stealing your possible fortune!
Resources: Lottery websites, to check numbers. My parents, after I bought the ticket.
