How to trade stocks
How I did it: I did well the first 5 months, but after that it was, 1 step forward, 3 steps back. For every successful trade I had, I had another 3 that went very badly. I did not quit until I was completely shattered, and unable to force myself to try again. I am deeply in debt; the worst financial shape of my entire life, and I've got no one to blame, but myself.
Lessons & tips: Your first loss is your best loss. Don't let a trade become an investment. Decide what kind of trader you are, and don't change your plan EVER. Always take a profit. Lower your expectations for each trade. Sell high, buy low = short selling. Buy low, sell high = long. Don't make it any more complicated than that.
Resources: I spent hours upon hours of reading, listening, and watching everything I could to try to get a clue. I can't name one source that I had, that really gave me an edge. I watched Fast Money, CNBC in general, and Cramer. Read Cramer, Michael Parness, and other books. Investors Business Daily, Wall Street Journal, I had resources, I just failed.
