How to read pride and prejudice

How I did it: I bought a nice leatherbound copy and committed to reading it with my sister. We planned to read about a chapter a day, but we both ended up finishing way ahead of our goal. Once I got into the story, I couldn't put it down. Watching the movie first helped me to get beyond the language and into the characters faster.
I plan to reread it every year - I loved it that much!
